This chapter reviews the literature on Europeanisation and the “gendering of Europe” and defines a joint research agenda (1). Focusing on gendered studies on EU integration, it firstly makes the distinction between different approaches to Europeanisation () and then lists a set of policy transfers to be analysed in our study.
